Ibland känner jag att jag är så lycklig! Mitt mål med året är att jag ska göra allt som jag vill och inte tveka! Nu har jag chansen, nu är jag fri att göra precis vad jag vill! Speciellt lycklig blir jag då när jag lyssnar på denna, oftast bortglömda, Oasis låt... PRECIS SÅ HÄR ÄR DET!!! :)

Written by Noel Gallagher, released as a stand alone single between the gap of Definitely Maybe(What's the story) Morning Glory? on 18 december 1994. It entered the charts at #3, their first single to enter the top 5, something every single since has accomplished.
Whatever was released as a contender for the top Christmas single 1994. It is a testament to Noel Gallagher's all-conquering self confidence that he should predict "Whatever's" success before he was even given a record contract, saying "In the beginning, there was a masterplan, to the extent that I knew that 'Whatever,' one of the first songs I ever wrote, would be a Christmas Top Five hit, but I think anyone who heard the song could have told you that."
